I would describe my career as a DJ as:

Exciting. I absolutely love what I do. Every performance is a different experience. I love making people dance and seeing people smile. I’m a Full-Time Disc Jockey and Music Producer, and I couldn’t be more blessed for the opportunities I gain daily to do what I strongly believe I was placed on this earth to do — Create.

When I think of being a creative, I think of:

Authenticity. Creating things that appeal to me. Being true to myself and what I love to do. I don’t worry about what people think about me or my presence. I create with passion and if the world accepts it, cool. But if they don’t, that’s cool too because I’m going to continue to create nonetheless.

Since starting my DJ career, the journey has been:

An uphill battle. Although it’s fun, it can be challenging at times. There are always new skills to learn and techniques to acquire. It’s always a
learning experience and because I enjoy what I do, my craft continues to grow. Every client is different, every event is different, but I persvere. It’s all about learning your niche and sticking to it.

As an entrepreneur, the most significant thing I’ve learned about business is that:

Keep a paper trail, stay professional, and choose your battles wisely. People will test you, but you have to keep a professional stance, unless otherwise. Invest in your craft and skills at all times. Finally, research and learn all you can about your field because you always want to be the most knowledgeable about what you do for a living.

Being stylish while working and throughout every-day life is important because:

Being well dressed makes a person feel good. When you feel good, it shows in your presence and performance especially when you’re great at what you do. You inspire others to get in their bag and present themselves in a different fashion because they want to look and feel good as well. Plus, you NEVER know who you may see.

In 2022, I plan to:

Become a master at my craft and be better than I was last year. Create and make an even bigger name for myself. This year is about producing more for the people and proving to myself that I can reach dreams and goals I once thought were unattainable.
